Sam Wones

With a background in sports and a career of over a decade in the Royal Marines Commandos, Sam is well-placed to talk about stress, resilience and performance.

Sam's list of qualifications includes;

Through his degree he studied and worked with elite-level sports people and their coaches, looking into methods and practices used to develop and maintain high levels of performance.

Upon graduating he worked in the fitness industry, specifically in a performance training centre. He worked with athletes, sports teams, special-forces soldiers and members of the public.

His proudest achievement in the Royal Marines was representing them and the wider Royal Navy as a competitive shooter. He won the title RM Champion At Arms - top shot for rifle and pistol in the Defence Operational Shooting Competition. A real testament to putting into practice his psychological skills training and performing under pressure.

Lucie Tullett...

Lucie has run her own clinical manual therapy practice for over 15 years. She has worked with all walks of life - from athletes to the elderly. She so often helps people who have the physical symptoms of chronic stress.

Lucie's list of qualifications include

  • Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage

  • TMJ Intra-oral Massage

After graduating and becoming a Pilates Instructor, she found there were gaps in her knowledge when 1-2-1 clients were presenting with severe pain and dysfunction. She went on to train in the other qualifications listed above to create a thorough and effective protocol. She has achieved impressive results and an excellent reputation.

Her most recent work has been to introduce poly-vagal theory and nervous system regulation techniques. This has hugely complemented her protocol and increased its effectiveness.

Her experience, training and practice contributes to a huge proportion of The Adaptable Human Project's course and principles.
